Chapter 4: Mother
With Xiao Che still hugging him and with Xiao ling leading her by the hips, the two siblings have had finally reached
their neighborhood. it was a normal middle-class neighborhood that used to be calm for the most part in the past but
now wherever you looked you could see construction work going on. homes getting demolished and getting replaced
by all different kinds of entertainment buildings, from gamings shops to cyber cafes to clothing shops, all was starting
to get built here in this neighborhood as a result of the expansions of one of the biggest companies in the city.
While ignoring the weird looks they received from the construction workers that were gathering their stuff to get back
home, the siblings arrived at the front door of their house.
The house was a small and normal looking two-story house that had seen better days based upon its outside shape.
Xiao Ling looked at the house that in his mind he hadn't seen since hundred of thousands of years ago. it was in this
house that he had grown up raised by his mother along with his little sister, it was in this house that he achieved his
first breakthrough in martial arts training, it was in this house that he had made countless happy memories with his
family.
But as much as this house had been the place where he had made some of the happiest memories of his life, it was
also here where he had felt sadness beyond compare, it was here that he had witnessed things that he would rather
forget and never be reminded of again.
Xiao ling shook his head and reached his hand to knock upon the wooden door of the small house. As he did soo he
took another look at the house, for even though it was a small house, it had been enough for the trio of him and his
mother and little sister. As for his father, well he had died in a car accident when he was barely a year old and his
mother had just gotten pregnant with Che Che, or so had said his mother.
Xiao ling managed to stop himself from grunting as he thought about his father. for all the love xiao ling had toward
his family, that love absolutely did not extend to his 'dead' father.
As he was lost in his thoughts, the door suddenly opened.
"Ah, finaly you two are back.....AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH."
The person who had opened the door and let out a horrified scream was a beautiful looking woman who had this
aura of maturity around her. She had a breathtakingly beautiful face, big black eyes and silky hair that she had tied
in a ponytail. and as for her clothes, she was wearing the same clothes as Che Che, a pair of normal jeans that
hugged her long legs and showed her wide hips, while her modest T-shirt couldn't hide her large breast as they
bulged from her chest and they looked so perky as if they defied gravity and the passage of time.
And This beautiful woman here who looked more like an overdeveloped teenage girl rather than a woman in her
thirties who had given birth two times was Xiao Tan, The mother of Xiao ling and Xiao Che. The women who given
birth to them and had raised and supported them both all by herself.
Xiao Tan was currently frozen in her place with a look of horror on her face as she looked at Xiao ling who looked
like he had been through a wood shredder with his clothes torn in multiple places and with dried blood sticking to his
usually pale white skin.
"W...wh....what happened to you....are you okay..medical help....you need medical help...hospital... I should get you
to the hospital.....yes...lets go....."
Xiao tan started stuttering and shaking in her place before she finally was able to calm down a little bit and reached
forward to grab the hand of Xiao ling and to try and grab him, but to her shock, she couldn't move Xiao Ling who just
stood there with a small troubled smile on his face.
"Mother, calm down. There is no need for me to go to any hospital. I'm completely fine and a trip to the hospital
would be just a waste of time and money."
"But how can you say that while looking like that? you think your mother is blind just because she is old? I can see all
those cuts that cover your body. How can you say that you would be fine? what if you got some kind of infection? Or
what if you have suffered an internal injury? and what if....."
"MOTHER."
Xiao Tan stooped her talking and closed her mouth in shock upon hearing how her son had addressed her. He
hadn't raised his voice but the way he had just said that word, Mother, in such a domineering way that she hadn't
heard for him before, she couldn't help but close her mouth instinctively and to raise her wide-open eyes and look at
him to see what he shall say.
Xiao Ling looked at his mother and he couldn't help but smile while nostalgia filled his heart, it had been so long for
him since he had last seen his mother, a women who loved her children more than anything, who would do anything
for them and would protect them with her life if she had to, but it was alose because of that love that she was
incredibly overprotective at times, often to the annoyance of Xiao ling and Xiao Che.
"Mother, As I said, there is no need for you to worry, I'm completely fine and I shall explain everything once we are
inside. so, can we get inside or is it our punishment to spend the night outside today for being late?"
"No, of course, No. come, get inside. But Are sure that you don't need to go see a doctor?"
Xiao Tan moved to the side to allow the two sibling entrance into the house after seeing Xiao ling shake his head as
an answer to her question, but even as she did so, her heart was still filled with worry about the health of her son,
worry that was being suppressed because of the even bigger shock that filled her heart upon hearing her son's
confident tone and the way he had addressed her.
After the two siblings had gotten inside, Xiao Tan closed the door and followed the siblings that were still hugging
each other into the living room.
Xiao tan entered into the living room to look at the two siblings who had sat together on one of the couches while still
hugging, a thing which she had noticed and caused her to raise her eyebrows forgetting her worry about her son for
a fleeting moment, for even though the two of them had been close before, she had never seen them be this close
to one another.
she truly was starting to get more and more curious about what had happened today. deciding that the best thing to
do to lessen her worry and satisfy her curiosity was to just ask them she took a seat on the couch facing the siblings
and after clearing her throat to get their attention.
"Alright then, even though my instinct as a mother is still screaming at me to get a doctor to come to see you, I'm
willing to hear what you have to say first. So, what happened today, Who dared do that to you, my son?"
The expressions on Xiao Tan became an expression of barely concealed anger for even though she usually was
kind and soft-hearted the thought of someone daring to lay his hand on one of her children caused extreme anger to
start bubbling inside her heart.
After hearing the question of his mother, Xiao Ling nodded his head and began to answer honestly.
"I don't know."
"HuH?.....What do you mean that you 'don't know'?"
"Exactly that. I have no memories of this day, or to be exact, I have no memories of what happened this day before I
awakened to see Che Che crying over me and starting our journey back home."
"How could that be? You're suffering from memory loss? That may be a clue to you suffering from a head injury. As I
thought, I really should get you a doctor."
"*Sigh*...Mother, I already told you that I'm fine and that there is no need for that. As for my memory, I simply need a
refresher to remember what happened today, and we have the perfect girl to help me with that right here."
After finishing his sentence Xiao Ling turned his head slightly to meet the eyes of Che Che who had laid her head on
his chest and was looking at him with her eyes wide open.
"Big brother, so you were telling the truth when you told miss policewoman that you didn't know what happened?"
"Of course. Che Che, your big brother never lies. Anyhow, how about you tell me and mother what had happened
today and what caused my injury?"
Suddenly being reminded of what had happened to cause his injury, a look of sadness and depression cover the
face of Che Che.
"It is all my fault. You had told me to run and get away, that you would follow me later, but I didn't listen and you
ended up getting injured so badly...."
Seeing that look on his little sister's face, Xiao ling used his hand to pat her head and to assure her.
"Che Che, no matter what had happened you shouldn't blame yourself. I won't blame you, I promise you of that. so
tell us what happened."
"Well, it all started with that Fen Dong. To be more exact when he stopped us on our way back home from school
while we were taking a shortcut through the old district."
"Fen Dong? That scoundrel is still bothering you?"
Upon hearing that name the expression on their mother's face soured even more while at the same time Xiao Ling
tilted his head slightly to the side trying to sift through his memories spanning hundreds of thousands of years to
remember to who belonged that name.
After a couple of seconds of sorting through his memories, Xiao ling was finally able to remember to whom had
belonged the name, Fen Dong. He was the heir to the prestigious Fen clan and in his past life had caused him
countless trouble in his early years of cultivation and he was one of his very first enemies and the animosity between
them had all started for Fen Dong had continued to pursue little Che Che despite her refusing him time and time
again and things had escalated even more when he had dared to try and kidnap her.
Thankfully Che Che was able to escape unharmed But upon Hearing of what had Fen Dong tried to do, Xiao ling
became consumed by rage and in his rage, he had crippled Fen Dong and facing the wrath of the Fen clan he was
forced to go into hiding and to leave the city.
After remembering all this Xiao ling was on the verge of laughing. The prestigious Fen Clan? Truly at that time, to
the still mortal him, The fen clan was something to be feared and respected, but after all, he had seen in the
hundreds of thousands of years after he had annihilated them and ascended to the middle realm and beyond he
couldn't help but feel ridiculous describing what can only be said to be a low-level clan with some backing at best

"And that had lead to your brother getting this injured? He did this to him?"
"Well, he was acting, as usual, Asking me on dates and stuff.." Xiao Che stopped talking to take a deep breath while
an expression of disgust appeared on her face showing what she thought of his proposal before continuing. "And
well, After hearing what he was saying, big brother had told me to get away because he felt something was wrong
and that he would deal with him and follow me back him, But I was stubborn, I didn't listen to him and stayed there."
Xiao Che took another deep breath before continuing her story of what had happened earlier today.
"Well, big brother interrupted Fen Dong and the situation got tense between them, and just when I thought things will
get ugly between the two, this old man who was hiding somewhere jumped trying to catch me, but big brother
reacted quickly and pushed me out of the way and tried to push the old man away. But the expression's of the old
man suddenly changed upon seeing that I had escaped him and he turned his hand toward big brother to touch him
in the chest, and the next thing I knew big brother fell down to the ground with blood running down his body.
I don't know what he had done, but big brother had suddenly lost consciousness while countless cuts appeared all
over his body....."
Xiao Che's body began trembling as she started recalling how her brother looked laying down there bleeding while
she had thought at that time that he died and that she had lost the most important person in her life.
Xiao Tan looked at her trembling and she couldn't help but bite her lips and curse in her heart the bastard, Fen
Dong, for daring to cause this pain to her child and she also cursed her own weakness for not being able to protect
her children properly from him and to stop him from pursuing her daughter even though she had already refused
him countless time before.
Xiao ling felt his little sister's body tremble against his and he hugged her even tighter trying to calm her down While
Xiao Tan opened her mouth to ask a question that had appeared on her mind after hearing her daughter's story.
"If that was what had happened, then how did you manage to get away?"
Even though Xiao Tan was Absolutely happy that her daughter and son were able to get home, relatively Fine, or at
the very least fine completely in the case of her daughter, she wasn't so naive as to not realize what had Fen Dong
intended to do. He had obviously been planning to kidnap her daughter.
AH, Just thinking about this caused incredible anger to appear in her heart. But still, she was equally curious about
how had her daughter managed to get back home, and how had her son managed to recover so quickly to manage
to get back along with her.
A look of confusion appeared on little Che's face after she had heard her mother's question and began thinking
about the matter.
"Now That you mention it, at that time, I didn't pay any attention to Fen Dong nor the old man with him, For I was too
shocked and focused on big brother, but I remember that suddenly an expression of terror appeared on both their
faces and them leaving immediately afterward without even taking another look at me."
"So they just randomly and suddenly left? And what happened after they left?"
"Well, Yeah. now that I said it, it sounds kind of weird even to me who had been there. But after that, I just couldn't
stand the sight of big brother laying down there bloodied and bleeding thinking that he had died and...it was my fault
for not listening to him... I should have listened...then he probably wouldn't have gotten injured like
that...and...*Sob*...i had thought that I had lost him....*Sob*..."
Tears began to run down Xiao Che's Cheeks As she thought back to what had happened. Her happiness at seeing
Xiao Ling awake and her confusion over his change in demeanor and her feeling even more happiness after he told
her that she was one of his women, all this had held back the shook and stress she had suffered before that from
seeing her beloved get injured and even thinking that he had died, but now, upon thinking actively of what had
happened, all that shock and stress came running back and she started to blame herself as she began to cry.
"Oi, Che Che, what did I tell you before on our way back home about crying and rambling? you truly think I won't
spank you just because mother is present here? there is no need to cry, Che Che. Nothing of what happened today
was your fault."
Xiao ling hugged his sister even tighter before and raised her head to wipe the tears from her cheeks and eyes with
tender love before continuing to speak.
"Che Che, I promise you what happened today, will never happen again, you shall never have to worry about your
big brother getting injured ever again, and you won't ever have to deal with Fen Dong again. What happened today
happened because your big brother was weak and he had nearly failed to protect you, but that shall never happen
again. I promise you that. And you to mother, I promise you that I shall never cause you to worry as much as you did
today. From now on I shall protect our family and take care of it as the man of the house. so from now one, you can
rely on me to take care of everything."
After he finished presenting his promises to the two beauties sitting in the room with him, Xiao ling began to get up
from the couch slowly. and for the beauties in question, they were both shocked to the core, for they had felt the
emotion behind Xiao ling word, and even more than that, they had for some reason believed completely what he had
said and promised.
Xiao ling managed to separate himself from his sister and began heading to the second floor.

After Xiao ling had finished climbing the stairs and reached the second floor, Xiao Che turned to her mother with a
look of slight confusion.
"He had changed, hadn't he?"
"Hmm, what do you mean by that?"
"I mean, you had noticed it too didn't you mother? The way he speaks, his confidence, his promise from before, I
knew you believed in them too. It's not like he became a different person or anything like that, he's still kind big
brother Xiao ling, but, ever since he had woken up, well, I don't know how to describe it with words properly, but he
had been acting differently."
Xiao Che began to think of a good example to use to explain to her mother what she meant. After remembering the

mother, you must understand what I mean. I just can't explain it, but you must have felt it too. I just can't be going
crazy imagining stuff."
Xiao Tan nodded her head after hearing her daughter's word, she too had felt a difference in the aura and
demeanor of her son, and she completely agreed with what her daughter was trying to say. But besides that, Xiao
Tan couldn't help but raise a delicate eyebrow upon seeing the crimson blush that covered her daughter's cheeks
her thoughts started to turn toward what might have caused that.
'Something else must have happened between the two of them on the way home, something that just thinking about

they seem far closer than they looked when they had left for school this morning. I mean they had gotten back home
with her hugging herself to him and him holding her by the hips. Well, whatever it is that had happened, I'm glad that
Xiao ling had stopped trying to distance himself from her.'
With different thoughts running through her mind, Xiao Tan looked at her daughter and decided against pressing
her about what had truly happened for she had already gone through a rough day and didn't want to add more
pressure on her. And so with that, she decided to answer her daughter's original question.
"Well, I did indeed notice the change somewhat, as you said, his aura became more confident and somewhat
domineering, his words too, they also sounded much more confident compared to his words when we spoke this
morning before you had left for school. Well, no matter what caused this change, I'm sure that your brother shall tell
us what happened when he thinks it's the right time to tell us. and besides, even if he had changed, he is still as you

but she decided against that and simply finished her words there and began getting up too from the couch.

Xiao Che nodded her head as she too rose up from her seat and started heading along with her mother to their
perspective rooms.
"its as you said mother, I don't even have the energy right now to take a shower so I shall just change my clothes
and go sleep. I shall be taking a shower tomorrow in the early morning."
"Well, Good night then my sweet daughter. I'm truly happy that you both came back to me safe and sound."
Xiao Tan bent her head a little and kissed Che Che on the forehead before going to her own room.
"Good night to you too mother."

As the duo of mother and daughter were wishing each other goodnight, Xiao ling had already finished taking his
shower and was back in his room sitting down on his bed wearing nothing but his underwear.
He was currently inspecting his body, and taking a look at all the small cuts that were littering his body. The cuts
were closing with a speed that was visible to the naked eye and this was all because of his soul energy nourishing
and healing his body.
His body currently looked like the body of an average 17-year-old highschooler. For he wasn't too skinny but he also
wasn't in any shape or form muscular.
'Another thing that I shall need to take care of. strengthening this mortal body a little bit and fixing its shape.'
Xiao ling added that to the mental list he had of thing he needed to do as quickly as possible. But despite having a
pretty long list he needed to get through, he couldn't help but smile because of one thought in his mind.
'The past is already Changed.'
This thought had appeared in Xiao ling's mind after having heard his sister finish describing what had happened
today for he had been able to finally pinpoint exactly where he had arrived in the past.
He had arrived at the time where he had his first confrontation with Fen Dong.
In his past life, Fen Dong had indeed ambushed him and his sister on their way back, and indeed Xiao Ling had
gotten injured back then as well, and as had happened now, Fen Dong and the old man escaped suddenly after
sensing something that terrified them.
But it was there that the similarities ended between what had happened in his past life and what happened today.
For in his past life, he hadn't managed to wake up after suffering the attack of the old man leaving Che Che
heartbroken and alone to cry over his bleeding body till a woman who was 'randomly' passing by happened upon
them and helped Che Che get him to the hospital where he had spent an entire week unconscious causing extreme
worry for his mother and sister.
But now, he had woken up immediately to console his sister and his body had nearly gotten healed up. so that
means that he already changed the past just by his soul arriving her.
Xiao ling smiled as he thought of this as he felt a weight got lifted off his shoulders for he had been worried even if
slightly that he won't be able to change what happened even if he came back, that what happened was doomed to
repeat itself, but now, he was absolutely certain that he could achieve what he wants.
Protect his family and loved one, helping them achieve their dreams and enjoy what life has to offer along with them
and finally taking them along with him as they ascend and move from one world to another.
'Well, first things first, I have to cast the binding of fate so that I can make sure that not even one hair of my loved
ones get hurt even if I'm not there to protect them personally. I absolutely won't allow for my arrogance and
confidence to get in the way of protecting those whom I hold dear. I had already made that mistake once in my past
life, I won't make it again now.'
Xiao Ling got up from his bed and headed to the middle of his room where he sat down there on the floor while
folding his legs in a meditation pose.
His breathing began to slow down as he started to enter his soul realm and at the same time he started the motions

Chapter 5: The Binding Of Fate And A Spanking.
As his breathing speed started getting slower and slower each passing second, Xiao ling began to enter into the
innermost part of his soul, into the realm of his soul to be exact.
Upon finally achieving complete focus, Xiao ling opened his inner eyes to look through his soul realm and at the
state of his soul. Once he did so, Xiao ling couldn't help but be shocked.
He hadn't know really what to expect after taking a trip through the river of time but he had at the very least thought
that his soul realm and the entirety of his soul would be somewhat damaged causing him to lose his powers. But
what he saw after he had finally reached the innermost part of his soul shocked him truly.
For his soul was nearly as strong as it had been before he jumped into the river of time and what little injuries it had
sustained in the journey were already healing before his eyes at an incredible speed. After seeing this and after
getting over his shock, Xiao ling couldn't stop himself from laughing.
"It seems that my decision to abandon physical cultivation and focus on the cultivation of the soul was and is still is
the correct decision."
In his past life, after suffering a serious injury that nearly crippled his entire body and after suffering multiple times
nearly the same fate time and time again, Xiao ling had decided at that time to do something that no one had ever
thought of doing. To destroy the foundation of his cultivation's core and focus completely on the strengthing and
refining of his soul.
At that time those closest to him had thought that he had lost his mind completely, and he had truly struggled in the
first couple of years after doing that, but by relying on his will and with help from his loved one, he had slowly started
to rip the rewards of his hard work.
From being able to use his soul energy to heal any injuries that he suffered to being able to obtain an
unprecedented mastery over the laws of the universe, to being able to survive any kind of physical injury so long as
his soul was intact to finally achieving a level of soul strength that his soul had transcended everything in existence
and had cast away all of the shackled that the universe had put on it.
He had by then became an existence that even the universe itself didn't dare to try and resist actively and its laws
were submitting to his will alone.
He had become truly a being beyond anything else in the world. A being that nothing could even imagine injuring or
fazing him, but by that time, he had lost all those he had cared about and he had felt that as powerful as he was, it
was all useless, or at least until he had finally decided to use his power to try and reverse the flow of the river of
time.
At that time, before jumping into the river of time, he had thought about what shall happen once he arrived in the
past. he had considered the possibility of losing all the power he had achieved, but that didn't faze him even in the
slightest and he didn't hesitate when he threw himself into the river. He had been prepared to throw all that power if it
meant a chance at seeing his loved one once again.
But, now, unexpectedly and completely opposite of what he had expected, he found out that his soul had remained
as strong as it ever had been. All of the strength that came from his soul was still there, all of his abilities, all of his
godly control over the elements and laws of the world, all of it was still there, he just hadn't focused over it until now.
Upon thinking about what had happened today he remembered using the energy of his soul to heal his body slightly
and to stop his bleeding wounds. At that time, he had done so completely by instinct and didn't pay any attention to it
for his full attention was focused on comforting his crying little sister.
'Looks like my success in coming back and seeing my sister and mother alive and well had truly shocked me for I
didn't even notice that my powers were still present and intact.'
After smiling at his good luck for a little bit, Xiao ling began to turn his attention to what he needed to do now. For
even though he had been pleasantly surprised that his powers were still unchanged as they had been, he didn't
allow this to distract him for very long for truly he didn't care. For even if had things truly gone as he had expected
and had ended up losing all his powers, he still wouldn't have gotten worried, for someone of his level, achieving
strength was as easy to do as taking a breath.
But still, this new revelation made him much more confident in achieving what he wanted. And so with renowned
confidence, he began the process of casting the bindings of fate.
The binding of fate is in principle a very simple spell in its execution and in its effect.
All one must do is cut a part of his soul, bind that part to the fate of someone else and that soul part shall act as the
last defense mechanism for protecting the life of whoever it had been bound to.
But even though it sounded simple in its premise, actually managing to endure the pain that results from cutting the
soul is an entirely different matter altogether.
But simple things such as pain cant stop someone like Xiao ling And so without any hesitation he began to cut his
soul while ignoring the pain that would have rendered any other person insane no matter how strong their mental
capabilities were.
'First thing first, making sure that mother and little Che Che are protected.'
Xiao ling proceeded to cut two pieces out of his soul and as soon as he has done so his soul's incredible healing
abilities began to act regenerating the parts that had been cut as If nothing had happened showing how truly strong
his soul was.
While these two pieces of his soul appeared tiny compared to the entirety of his soul, but as had once been said by
a wise man, appearances can be deceiving for, in fact, these small pieces of soul contained enough power to cause
even a primordial god to tremble in fear.
Holding these pieces of power that would cause any being in the multiverse to drop to the ground with fright, Xiao
Ling began to shift his attention elsewhere. Onto the Law of fate surrounding the two closest women to him right
now, his mother and his little sister. He felt the law of fate as it tried to resist him, he felt it as it tried to resist his
action of trying to change it and meddle with it, but something as pathetic as the law of fate couldn't even measure
up in the eyes of someone like Xiao ling, so with a small burst of his power, he managed to subjugate the law of fate
surrounding the life path of his mother and sister and began to change it and infuse it with the power from the two
pieces of his soul.
And with that, he had completely severed his mother and little sister from the wheel of fate and what was surrounding
them now was the protective force of his soul.

a while. I was just shocked by the sudden change."
"Thank you for your understanding, mother."
Xiao Che was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after hearing the words of her mother as she seemed to have
decided against pressing her about more answers regarding her sudden change in wardrobe style.
She was still feeling slightly uncomfortable standing in front of her mother wearing clothing that showed so much of
her fair skin and curvy body but she was at the very least able to start calming herself down and the blush that
covered her breathtaking face began to disappear.
Seeing her daughter finally start to calm down, Xiao Tan smiled slightly before continuing talking.
"Anyway, back to what we were speaking about, You said that your brother is already awake. Did you wake him
yourself?"

"Good morning Mother."
Xiao Ling took a look at his mother who was sitting opposite of Xiao Che while he greeted her. Today, His mother
was dressed as usual in very conservative clothing. A normal White buttoned-up top and a skirt that reached to
bellow her knees and she had tied her hair in a Bun style.
But, Despite her very normal and plain clothing, they still got pushed to the very limits. For her top looked like its

Xiao Ling had truly meant every word of what he had said. While he had in his past life eaten food that would have
caused even the most emotionless of god's to droll in hunger, truly nothing can compare in his eyes to the taste of

Suddenly hearing her mother address her and call her by name nearly caused Xiao Che to jump from her seat in

today while taking a shower."

A look of confusion appeared on the blushing face of Xiao Che as soon as her brain had managed to comprehend
the words of her mother. For she truly didn't understand what her mother meant as she hadn't burnt herself at all
this morning.
While focusing on her daughter and son's face to see their reaction, She continues speaking and started to explain
what she meant to her daughter.
"Wel, when you came down this morning, After you had turned around, I couldn't help but notice that...*cough*...The
lower part of your body shall I say, was red as if you had burnt yourself with hot water. That is what had happened
isn't it?"
As soon as she had finished uttering her words the expression of the siblings changed. For Xiao Che her blush had
increased even more in color as if that was possible and a look of panic appeared on her face.

hold his laughter back in.

Xiao Che refused to answer and just clamped her mouth shut as she pretended to be completely focused on eating

Turning back toward his mother, Xiao Ling smiled at her while barely managing to hold his laughter in.
"Well, It looks like our dear Che Che is too embarrassed to answer and it looks like she might have truly burned
herself today doing something that she shouldn't have been doing."
Looking at the laughing expression of her son, Xiao Tan started to wonder about different things in her mind.
'Since when Did Xiao Tan enjoys spending time with us? and Since when was he able to joke around like this teasing
his little sister? It looks like my daughter was Right and that he had truly changed somehow after he had woken up
and recovered from his injuries. And it looks like I'm right in my theory that something had happened between the
two this morning. Xiao Che's expressions are proof enough of that. But I can't ask them directly. Well, at the very
least, I'm sure that it's not something bad for Even though Xiao Che is blushing and is embarrassed, the fact that she
is enjoying whatever is going on is apparent to anyone who looks at her eyes.'
While Xiao Che was silent as she ate her food trying to ignore what was being said about her, and more importantly

immediately replaced by a sour and angry expression. Noticing this, Xiao Ling couldn't help but squint his eyes
wondering who it was that dared ruin the mood of his mother like this.
After taking a couple of a deep breath to calm her self down she proceeded to use one of her immaculate and
slender fingers to swipe the screen of the phone answering the Call.
"Wang Huang. I'm wondering why are you calling me at this early hour in the morning and on this day no less. unless
my memory is getting faulty Then today is still the middle of the month and you are not due rent until the end of the
month. So, I'm wondering why are you calling me?"
The tone of voice that Xiao Tan had started using on the phone was completely the opposite of her tone when she
had been talking just a couple of seconds ago with her children. Now her tone was devoid of any emotion and Her
voice was sharp enough that it felt like a blade that could be pointed at anyone she wished.
After she had finished speaking, Xiao Tan was silent for a couple of seconds as she heard what the 'Wang Huang'
on the other side of the phone had to say.
As she continued to listen to the man on the other end of the phone talk, the anger on Xiao Tan's Face continued to
increase with each passing second.
"Listen here, Master Wang Huang."
Xiao Tan suddenly interpreted whatever Wang Huang was saying as she proceeded to talk over him and despite her
angry expression her tone of voice was still calm and devoid of any emotions.
"I had already given you an answer. No, I and my family Shall not be moving out of this house, Simply because you,
The owner wish to sell it out to some company. We had signed a contract when I moved in here. So long as I
continue to pay the rent every month then I shall have the right to stay here for as long as I pleased along with my
family. And I had kept my and end of the Deal and never was late on a payment. And So I wish for you to stop
bothering me with a phone call every day. Well then, I shall be hanging off."
As soon as she had finished talking, Xiao Tan proceeded to hang up the phone and turn it off. After she had done
so She proceeded to turn the phone off and put it back on the counter where it had been. Having done so she
returned to her seat where she slumbered with her head handing down looking extremely tired.
Xiao Ling looked at his Mother with a calm expression while his heart was starting to get filled with anger at seeing
her in this state. Whoever had caused her to look like this, He should be thankful that Xiao Ling was in a good mood.
Taking a breath to calm his heart Xiao Ling pulled his hand back from his little sister's thigh and began talking
addressing his mother.
"Mother, Who was it that just called and what did they want? I heard something about the house, What is that all
about?"
Xiao Tan raised her head to look at her son while she started preparing herself to tell him how he shouldn't worry
himself about such things and should let her handle them. But, She suddenly stooped herself from doing so as the
words died in her throat. For she had looked into his eyes and the anger she saw there nearly frightened her and
the only reason she was able to look at him directly was that she sensed that the anger in his eyes was definitely not
aimed at her nor was it caused by her.
Taking note of his mother's shocked expression, Xiao Ling realized that his eyes must look frightening right now and
so he forced himself to calm even more and started smiling as he looked at his mother with all the love he had in the
world for her.
"Mother, Just answer my question with honesty. Have you forgotten what I have said yesterday? I had said that from
now on I shall be the man of the house and I shall take care of evrything. Did you think I was just blowing up hot air
with those words of mine?"
Shaking her head in the negative, Xiao Tan began Taking a couple of quick breaths to calm her beating heart she
started to answer her son's question while looking at his mesmerizing eyes that were no longer filled with anger but
instead were filled with the tender love that he has for her.
"The one who called was Wang Huang. The owner of this house we are living in. He called to once again bother me
with asking if I would accept His request for us to move out. He had made up some excuse previously about how it's
all because he needs the house for himself or some other stuff like that, but, I know the truth. He simply wants to sell
it to the Zeong company. They have already bought the vast majority of this neighborhood and what remains is just
a couple of houses including ours."
Stopping for a second to catch her breath, Xiao Tan continued explaining the situation.
"And I Have already refused him time and time again. But with each refusal, he started to get even angrier than
before, Even though our contract is pretty clear. Besides, Even if wanted to move, there are very few places we can
afford. The Higher neighborhood is way too expensive and is only reserved for the rich people of the city and The
Old district had become way too dangerous to be a place to live in. And so this is the only truly viable place for us to
live in. But? That damned Huang continues to bother me day in and day out and I fear that he might one day go into
extreme lengths to get us out of here."

After having finished her explanation to her son and venting her frustration out, Xia Tan sighed deeply and just
leaned back into her chair while raising to take a look at her son who seemed to be deep in his thoughts.

Feeling the warm and surprisingly strong hand of her son on her head, Xiao Tan couldn't help but blush slightly and
nod after hearing his words while wondering in her heart. 'Just when had my son become so dependable. I don't
know why but I believe each and every word of his.'
Seeing his mother nod in understanding, Xiao Ling smiled as he pulled back his hand from his mother's head and
leaned down unto his sister to give her a quick kiss on her forehead causing her to blush like her mother, after which
he started heading to the door of the house.
"I shall be leaving now. Cant let miss policewomen think I broke my promise to her. By the way, I might not be back
home by launch time as I will be taking a tour around the city If that ended up happening just go ahead and eat
without me."
Both mother and daughter who was blushing slightly nodded their head after hearing his words.
"Mother, Remember what I said, Just leave everything to me. I shall take care of all this mess so you can just relax
and enjoy your time and not worry about anything."
Having reached the door of the house, Xiao Ling stooped in his tracks to address his mother, and after having done
so, he turned around toward his little sister while a teasing smile was on his face.
"And you, Litle Che Che, Make sure to listen to your mother and be a good girl else your lower part might end up
getting burned by hot water once more."
Having finished his parting words, Xiao Ling opened the Door and closed it after he had gone outside leaving behind
his little sister whose blush had increased even more and was wishing that her chair would just swallow her along
with his mother who looked with dazed eyes at her son who suddenly seemed to her to be so dependable with his
words that were said with such confidence that she wasn't able to question them in the slightest. Her son started to
look all of a sudden so manly to her, And this was a thought that caused a blush matching her daughter to appear
on her face as well.
Having left behind him a pair of blushing daughter and mother, Xiao Ling smiled as he took a deep breath outside
the house and started to head toward the police station as he had promised yesterday.

Anyway, let me use this chance to answer a couple of questions I saw in the comment so that you may gain an
understanding of where the novel is going and if you will want to continue reading.
First, Regarding The Mother, Yes she will be in the harem, I mean one of the tags of the novel is incest xD.
Second, Regarding Harem Size, It's going to be large, I mean Xiao Ling's lovers are spread all over the multiverse,
so its size shall be pretty big but I shall try to develop all the characters as much as I could and make the romance as
believable as I could.
Thirdly, Regarding Netorare, Nope, That disgusting Shit is never appearing in my novel. The women of Xiao Ling will
Always be his and his alone and no other man will ever come close to them. But Netori on the other hand, Well there
will be some of that but much later in the story as we had only started.
Fourth, Regarding The Smut. Yes there will be Smut Scenes lemon scenes sex scenes whatever you want to call
them and , they will be in the novel and they will be extremly detailed but it will take a while to get to them as I want to
build the relationship between Xiao Ling and his women more before that But they well in the novel and once they
start they won't stop.

Chapter 7: A Visit To The Police Station.
Having closed the door of the house behind him, and being assured that his mother and sister were now protected
after having cast the binding of fate and sensing the pieces of his soul that sounded them today at breakfast, Xiao
Ling felt at ease leaving them alone as there was nothing that could hurt them anymore and so he turned around
and took a deep breath inhaling the air of the city before letting it out slowly.
Xiao Ling couldn't help but chuckle slightly as he shook his head.
'Ah, The polluted air of The Earth, the air that is nearly devoid of any pure energy. Who would have thought that I
would miss even something like this?'
LAughing slightly Xiao Ling started to walk in a random direction while looking like he didn't pay any attention to his
sounding.
As He started nearing the edge of the neighborhood Xiao Ling suddenly sensed that he was being watched.
Extending his soul sense slightly he started tracking where had this feeling of being watched came from.
He had to extend his soul sense until it had nearly reached the old district that was at the very least a couple of miles
away to finally locate who was watching him and upon sensing the familiar aura of who was looking at him from such
a long distance Xiao Ling couldn't help but smile Fondly while feeling nostalgia fills his heart.
'Looks like she is curious about how I had managed to wake up yesterday so quickly after suffering that kind of
injury. I wonder if she will approach me soon as she had done in my past life. Well, even if she didn't we shall meet
sooner or later.'
After using his soul sense to observe the woman that was looking at him from afar without her realizing that he was
aware of her existence and that he was looking at her in the same way that she was looking at him, Xiao Ling shook
his head and pulled back his soul sense.
'I think it would be much better if I let her come meet me when she feels ready as opposed to me going to meet her
right now and frightening her.'
Having pulled back his soul senses back Xiao Ling increased slightly his walking speed as he started heading toward
the middle of the city.
As he started to cross from one street to another and started to mingle with the people moving from one place to
another, Xiao Ling began looking at the people around him.
The streets were filled with cars speeding one following another, All the people out today early in the morning trying
to get the most of the day with it being a weekend.
And the sidewalk as well were filled to the brim with all kinds of people, young couple out on some kind of date or
another, Old people trying to get some walking done to remain healthy even in their old ages, some teenagers that
stood at the corners while looking at their phone and watch appearing as if they were waiting for someone.
Taking a look at this bunch of mortals moving all around the place while trying not to bump into each other, Xiao Ling
couldn't help but smile slightly.
'They are all so carfree enjoying their short lives as much as they could. Something that a lot of immortals should
look and try to learn from them regardless of their disdain for them.'
Smiling as he looked at these people that were trying to enjoy their break and weekend despite whatever may be
happening in their life Xiao Ling began wondering about how he shall get to the police station as he had realized as
soon as he reached here that he didn't know where it was.
He could have spread a small part of his soul senses to cover the entire city and to find out where everything is, but
he decided against doing that. For there would be no fun in that, Just using his soul to do everything, That would be
against what Xiao ling wanted to do in this life, to take things slowly and enjoy his time.
And so he decided to do what any normal person who didn't know how to get to someplace do.
Asking any random person passing by him to give him direction.
And so that was what he tried to do as he stopped a middle-aged man who was looking at his phone with complete
focus.
"Hey, excuse me, but can you point me to the po..."
Xiao Ling couldn't even finish his sentence as the man didn't even glance at him and continued to walk briskly toward
his unknown destination.
Xiao Ling looked at the middle-aged man as he disappeared the crowd and shook his head slightly.
'Looks like the mortals of earth are much busier and much more focused on themself than I had thought.'
Without allowing for this to discourage nor annoy him, Xiao Ling tried once more to stop a middle-aged woman to get
direction from her, This time she actually stooped to look At Xiao Ling but she didn't even let him finish talking before
spouting some nonsense.
"Young man, I will have you know that I'm a married woman and have no intention of ver betraying my husband. You
should be ashamed and should try hitting on a girl closer to you in age."
Leaving these words behind her, The middle-aged woman disappeared into the moving crowd.
Instead of being annoyed or angry, Xiao Ling was instead amused immensely by what was going on and the words of
the middle-aged woman nearly caused him to start laughing loudly.
Just from where did she get the idea that he was hitting on her and just for what reason did she mention her
husband.
Xiao Ling couldn't help but chuckle slightly.
'Asking for directions is starting to be a more challenging task than even facing 12 Gods of war while I was injured.'
Not being discouraged, Xiao Ling once more tried to ask once more for direction, This time from an old lady that was
slowly making her through the crowd supported by her walking stick.
"Hey, Auntie, Can I ask you something quickly?"
This time, the elderly woman didn't ignore Xiao Ling and, in fact, she stopped to look at him while a benevolent and
warm smile covered her face.
"Of course, Young man. Just what do you need from an old woman like me?"
Xiao Ling smiled as he looked at the old lady who stopped in front of him. She was a woman Of short status and
looked to be quite frail as the hand of hers that was holding her walking stick looked to be quite skinny to the point
that she was nothing but skin and bone.
"Auntie, how could you be an old lady. To me, you look to be in much better shape than most middle-aged women
passing through the street right now."
Hearing the words of the young man standing before her, the old lady couldn't stop her smile from increasing in size
slightly. Even though she knew that the young man was just being polite in his words, there wasn't a woman who
didn't like hearing that she was in good shape or that she was better than other women no matter her age.
"You exaggerate young man. But, I do try my best in taking a walk every day. Sadly the passage of time is starting to
affect. With each passing day, it's only getting hared and harder for me to get out of bed and stand up. But that
should e of no concern to you and I apologize for rambling on. So, What was it that you wanted to ask of me?"
"Ah, It's not anything big. I need to get to the police station but I don't know the way to get there. I was wondering if
you knew maybe and could point me in the right direction?"
Hearing his words, The old lady frowned slightly as she looked at Xiao Ling and shook her head slightly.
"And what does a young man like you need to do at the police station? I know this may sound like I'm putting my
nose where it doesn't belong, but you are a handsome and polite young man. You have a bright future in front of
you. So, Take my advice and cut your relationship with whoever it is that you need to visit the police station for. Don't
put your future at the line by getting mixed with the wrong crowd."
After listening to the words of the old lady and hearing the real concern in her voice, Xiao Ling raised one of his
eyebrows while smiling slightly. He truly appreciated the concern the olf lady had for his future despite not knowing
him at all.
"Its nothing like that auntie. I'm just visiting there to fulfill a promise that I had made to a policewoman that had helped
me yesterday."
Hearing the words of Xiao Ling the eyes of the old lady started to twinkle with amusement and a teasing smile
appeared on her face.
"Ah, So it's about a woman then? She must be a beautiful woman if she could get the attention of a handsome young
man like you."
"I'm not interested in her like that auntie. While I'm indeed interested in her its not for anything like what you
thinking."
Hearing the words of the old lady Xiao Ling started shaking his head in the negative. For while it was true that miss
policewoman was a beautiful woman, rivaling even his mother and little sister, Xiao Ling was much more interested in
her because of her ability to control minds.For according to his memories of hid past life, Xiao Ling was certain that
people who have special abilities or as had become normal to call them, ESPers, didn't start appearing on earth until
nearly 15 years from now.
The old lady laughed slightly before she started pointing with her hands.
"Well, I won't be holding you back anymore and risk causing you to be late to your date with the policewoman. Look,
Take that street and take the first exit on the left, Just follow the street after that and you should find yourself right in
front of the local police station."
"Thank you. I appreciate your help."
Xiao Ling thanked the Od woman while he put his hand lightly on her's. Deciding to thank the old lady in his own way
he focused a little bit of his healing abilities onto her and sent it into her body through her hand. It wasn't much but
with this, she will be surprised that starting tomorrow she will be able to walk without having to depend on her walking
stick and her bone won't ache for the rest of her life.
Having paid back the old lady for her help, Xiao Ling began following the directions she had given him.
After following her instruction for a couple of minutes, Xiao Ling found himself finally standing in front of the police
station.
This police station looked like any other normal police station. It had a large sign above it glass dorrs that spelled
that it was indeed the police station. It looked exactly as Xiao Ling had expected. Well, except for one thing, The
expensive-looking porch car that was parked in front of the police station.
Without even taking another look at the expensive-looking car Xiao Ling entered into the police station.
On the inside, it was nearly completely quiet and there was not one person standing at the entrance. Without taking
a look at the walls that looked like they desperately needed to be repainted nor at the roof that looked like it will
collapse at any moment Xiao Ling started walking forward deep into the building.
As he headed toward the direction counter where there sat one overweight middle-aged man who looked like he was
about no nod off sleeping Xiao Ling began wondering how he would ask about miss policewoman As he didn't know
her name.
Deciding to just go for it, Xiao Ling approached the counter and started speaking nearly startling the overweight
man.
"Hey, I'm looking for a policewoman who told me to come to meet her here. I didn't get her name last time but she
was very beautiful and I doubt there are any as beautiful as here working here. So, Can you take me to her?"
The overweight man rubbed his eyes with his fat finger before looking at Xiao Ling. It apparently took a while for his
brain to process his words but after a couple of seconds of vacant staring, he finally pointed toward one corridor
suited at the left of the counter.
"I know who you are talking about. There isn't another beautiful woman beside her who works here. In fact, she is the
only woman who works here. Just go down that corridor, her office is the last room on your right. Just knock before
going in."
After hearing his word, Xiao Ling nodded his head, Thanked him for the direction and started heading down the
corridor while wondering in his heart.
'Is it just me or was that too easy? Like I expected a couple of question's regarding why I wanted to meet her or
something but I just got pointed toward her. I really wonder if a guy like that is fit to be a policeman.'
Shaking his head, Xiao Ling continued heading down the corridor and after a couple of seconds he reached the end
of it and stood facing the last door on his right. Just as he was about to knock on the door he heard voices of people
speaking, or people arguing to be more specific, that came from the inside of the room.
"Zeong Jian, how many times must I tell you this. I have no intention of ever going out with you. I don't want anything
to with you. If you don't stop bothering me, I shall take this matter into court as your behavior is becoming like that
one of a stalker. Stop Showing at my place of work. Stop sending me gifts and just leave me alone. Now get out of
here. Leave."
"Hmph, fine then. You truly don't understand what is best for you. You shall regret those words of yours one day."
As he stood there listening to what he recognized as the voice of miss policewoman shout at someone, Xiao Ling
couldn't help but sigh slightly.
'Look like I came at the wrong time.'
As he stood there wondering what he should do, The door suddenly opened and out came a Young man who
appeared to be in his mid-twenties.
The young man who Xiao Ling assumed was called Zeong Jian based on what he heard had short cut black hair with
a cleanly shaven face and a sharp chin and was wearing an expensive-looking suit.
Zeong Jian's angry expression suddenly changed to one of a surprise when he laid his eyes on Xiao Ling but that
expression of surprise lasted for only a fleeting thought before anger returned to cover his face once more.
"Move out of the way you piece of trash."
As he said these words, Zeong Jian reached with his hand intending to push Xiao Ling to the side, But Xiao Ling
remained standing in his place without moving a single inch.
The expression of surprise once more returned to cover the face of Zeong Jian. Even as he put all his strength into
his hand, he found out and to his shock that he couldn't move the guy standing before him. He felt as if he was trying
to push a mountain. A feat that was impossible to accomplish.
After trying for a couple more seconds without any success, Zeong Jian pulled back his hand and having given up
on trying to move Xiao Ling he used the space that was left open near him to walk out and start walking out of the
police station while cursing under his breath.
"Trash, All of the pieces of trashes that don't their pace. First, that woman who doesn't know when a fortune had
fallen on her and now that arrogant asshole. *Hmph*. All of them shall learn their lesson. I Shall make sure of that."
Having heard the words that he had muttered under his breath, Xiao Ling sighed slightly and shook his head while
moving his eyes from looking at the back of Zeong Jian.
'Calm down, Xiao Ling. Just calm down. There is no need to get angry over something as insignificant as this. There
is no need to kill him over something as small as this. Just calm down. Pull back your soul energy. Just calm down'
After reigning in his emotion, Xiao Ling turned around and entered into the office leaving the door open.
Taking a look around the office, it looked as he had expected based on the state of the rest of this police station. It
was in bad shape. And besides the state of the office, it was nearly empty save for one nearly empty bookshelf and
a small desk that was in the middle of the room.
Coughing to get her attention, The policewoman who was sitting at the desk raised her head to which she had
lowered down.
"Didn't I tell you to leave me alone already. Do you truly think i..."
Before she had even raised her head completely to look at him, The policewoman began talking using her angry
tone of voice. She had probably thought that he was Zeong Jiang who had came back.
After she had finally raised her head and looked at him, her words died in her throat as she bushed slightly realizing
her mistake.
Xiao Ling chuckled slightly looking at her before raising one of his eyebrows as he started speaking in a joking tone
of voice.
"You forced me yesterday to promise you to come to meet you today and I had even woken up so early in the
morning on a weekend and had to overcome countless hurdles to reach her, but now you tell me to leave you
alone? Truly no one can understand women."
Hearing his words the policewoman chuckled slightly herself and she felt her bad mood get better slightly by his
joking words. As a small smile appeared on her face she responded to the words of Xiao Ling But now her tone of
voice was a Joking one instead of the angry one she had used before.
"Hmph, Who told you to shower up with blood before going out into the street. Of course, I would be suspicious of
you."
Hearing her words Xiao Ling laughed slightly before nodding his head.
"Well, I admit, I did indeed look suspicious yesterday."
The policewoman snorted playfully before she pointed toward one of the two seats that were placed in front of her
desk.
Getting her invitation, Xiao Ling entered deeper into the office before taking a seat on of the two chairs. As he did so
the policewoman looked at his, Took a deep breath and started to apologize.
"I apologize for what happened earlier. My angry words weren't directed at you."
Xiao Ling just smiled ad waved her apology with one of his hands.
"There is no need for you to apologize. I already knew that you thought I was someone else. It was just an honest
mistake."
Hearing his response she smiled slightly in appreciation for his words.
After seeing her smile, Xiao Ling nodded his head before continuing to speak.
"Well, I'm here as promised. So, What shall we do now? You want to ask me something?"
Hearing the words of Xiao Ling, The policewoman couldn't help but open up her eyes slightly in surprise. She had
expected him to ask her about who she had intended her words for, Ask her what was all that arguing about, But he
simply just ignored all of that. She truly didn't expect that.
After looking for a long time in silence at him while he continued to stare at her similarly with that confident smile of
his. She couldn't help but sigh and shake her head slightly and try to answer his question.
"Well, I didn't expect for you to truly show up as you had promised. In fact, I was nearly convinced that I would need
to track you down and drag you here myself."
"Well, I'm a man who keeps his promises. For what is the worth of a man who breaks his words and promises?"
Hearing his words the beautiful policewoman smiled slightly while nodding with her head.
"Ah, How I wish more people had that kind of mindset and stood by it. Well, I don't want to take too much of your time
and I'm similarly tired. So, I will get straight to the point. What happened yesterday that caused you to be injured like
that?"
"Someone tried to kidnap my sister, You saw her, She was walking with me yesterday. Well, I tried to save her and
one of the people who tried to kidnap her injured me."
"What? Someone tried to kidnap your little sister? Why didn't you say so yesterday? Do you know the name of who
did that so we can launch an investigation into the matter?"
"The name of one of them is Fen Dong but there is no need for a police investigation or anything of the sort. I Shal
handle the matter myself."
"Fen Dong? Are you referring perhaps to the eldest son of the Fen family?"
"Yes, I think he is their heir or something like that."
After hearing him confirm her theory, The policewoman couldn't help but sigh as she slumped and leaned back into
her chair. For she knew that she couldn't do anything if the matter involved someone from the Fen family. Even if
she did launch an investigation unto him it would result simply in it getting dropped and nothing would come out of it.
Seeing the beautiful face of the young policewoman gets covered by an expression of slight defeat, Xiao Ling
guessed easily what could have caused it and so he tried to cheer her up slightly.
"There is no need for you to get worried about this matter. As I had told you, No need to involve the law. I shall deal
with Fen Dong myself."
Hearing his words the young policewoman raised her head while her eyes were open in surprise.
"What do you mean you will deal with him? You do know right that he is the heir to the Fen Family, One of the
biggest and strongest clans in our city? Don't do something stupid that would put yourself and your family in
danger."
Hearing her word's Xiao Ling nearly started laughing out loud. If only she knew what he had done to the Fen family in

Hearing his confident words The policewoman shook her head slightly. She couldn't believe it herself, But for some
reason and deep in her heart she believed every word that Xiao Ling had said despite how ridiculous they sounded.

it sound like he could so with extreme ease. Truly utterly ridiculous words, but she couldn't stop her heart from
believing him slightly.
Her curiosity regarding this mysterious guy named Xiao Ling started to grow in her heart.
After a coupe second of silence between the two of them, Xiao Ling began rising from his seat.
"Well, If this is everything I shall be taking my leave now miss policewoman. I want to take a walk through the city and
try to get back home by launch time."
"Ah, alright then. Unfortunately, my hands are tied if the matter truly involved The Fen Familly so this is everything
and you may leave. Please close the door behind you."
The policewoman nodded her head after hearing the words of Xiao Ling. She couldn't say anything else besides a
couple words of acknowledgment.
After Xiao Ling closed the door of her office behind him and started the trip back to the entrance and to the outside
of the police station he suddenly realized one thing.
'I still haven't gotten her name.'
Xiao Ling smiled slightly before shaking his head.
'There shall be more opportunities in the future for me to learn of her name. I have a feeling that this won't be the
last meeting between me and miss policewoman.'
